Banana Bread

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 ½ cup walnuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3 bananas
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 ⅓ cup flour (all purpose)

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup grapeseed oil
  • ¼ to ⅓ cup maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Farenheit.
  2. Smash walnuts in a bag until quarter of their original size.
  3. Combine wet ingredients in stand mixer. Begin by beating together the 2 eggs and finish with the bananas.
  4. Mix in dry ingredients (other than walnuts and raisins).
  5. Mix in raisins and walnuts at low speed.
  6. Grease the sides of a bread pan with baking oil of your choice (preferably grapeseed).
  7. Fill pan with dough. Top with walnut halves for decoration.
  8. Bake for an hour and 15 minutes. Remove when toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before cutting clean slices.
